I'm back with more photos from my summer in Tanzania! In case you missed it, here is the link to the week one photos.
Tanzania Travel Journal Week Two
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday were spent in orientation. I know, you're probably thinking more orientation?? We could only get so much information about Tanzania while in Minneapolis, so these three days were learning about the culture, the people, the language, safety, and going over the plan for the summer.
Wednesday we went on a city tour. We walked around our city, seeing new sites and people. I also went to the school we would be teaching English camp at for the following two weeks to help one of the long-term team members teach a communications class to 1-3 graders.
Thursday was a loooooong meeting about our upcoming English camp.
Friday we had a Bible study with some of the teenagers in the city.
And Saturday we had a beach day as a team!
